I have a 7 Blade Hx35 with the stock 12cm^2 what can I expect for a non TS/stock 2g mani spool vs a TS spool up time? is it really gonna be that dramatic like 3200 vs 5000 rpms?

Jus, that group buy is over. BrokenTSI said after all the manifolds are done and shipped they will most likely do another one. But Jay-Wel, if you want one of those manifolds check them out on facebook and get ahold of Joe! https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=626015086 .

Also OP Id advise you to READ through the Holset FAQ and 8 threads on Holset info..

I know you want non divided results but heres Mr Peepers' hx35 on his divided manifold for a little reference..

I was more-or-less linking the thread for the photos and as a place to get the appropriate manifold....but thanks for the heads-up regardless. :thumb:

The stock housing I believe is t4, where the 2g mani is MHI. Youll either need an adapter or the preffered method of a new mani. You get what you pay for with manifolds.
I've only ever seen one T4-flanged HX35. ALL others I've seen have been twin-scroll T3, and that's about 1000. So your odds of getting a T4 HX35 are about 1000 to 1.

Inlet flange won't fit for sure, but you stated buying an adapter....and there's no adapter in the world that can make up for punching a hole in the block to get your turbo to fit. The 2G manifold places the turbo too close to the engine.

I always assumed that it was t4 being as the hx52 was t4. Plus the housing look so big compared to the the other housing that are offered. Plus the owner of my hx40 told me it was t4.

This is a adapter I was talking about. It could work but isnt the best option. There would be alot more work since it would make the turbo sit lower. So your exhaust wont line up.

Heres a few threads to read up on.

HX52, which I have is not exactly T4, and it dwarfs the HX35.. not sure where you extrapolated that from. The bolt holes on the HX52's 16cm2 exhaust side can be elongated to use a T4 manifold.

IIRC the HX52 has a "proprietary" Cummins flange I've heard a diesel tech refer to as an H2 inlet, though he could be wrong as well of course

Wrong again- HX52's are T5.

I don't think you're picking up what I'm putting down.

Explain how the adapter you linked will overcome this:
