HID Kit for 98 ecplise

So i go to my local dealer for these and they say i need to know the bulb size... well i didnt no what the size is. can some1 let me know what bulb or size is needed to get a hid kit for a 98 ecplise gst?

see the thing is i dont wana buy them online i have local stores with them but they keep asking what bulb does the ecplise take with the hid kit and that i dont no.

SharpHID is a vendor on here with lifetime warranty on the kits and it's something like $90 (total) with the 55w balast upgrade.

the place im going to has lifetime for 100 so 10 dollor more dosent barther me... but i still cant figure out what bulb i need and they close in 3 hours >.>

Shoot Azdave a pm, I'm sure he'll have the info you need. Some reason 9006 is what comes to mind.

I'd take the sharpeHID kit over alot of other kits on the market, their alot better quality kits then alot of others out there & its a great company to deal with. If your looking for a low beam kit, their a 9006 bulb.

Our cars don't have a high low bulb, so a hi low kit won't work. If you want both HID lights for the low beams & high beams, you need a kit for 9006 (low) & a 9005 (hi) kit. Most people buy the low only, as the high beams aren't typically used once you've swapped to a HID low.

9006 lows and yeah once you get lows i highly doubt you'll be needing hi

Yep I agree. I bought my hids frond sharp hid and haven't had any problems with them at all over a year ago. And I have not used my bright since.
