Ok, so I bought a supervision II kit from www.hid-lights.com
After a few minutes of keeping them on, one of the lights will turn off. If i turn the light off then back on it will work....for a few minutes before it shuts off again.
I called and they suggested to upgrade the fuse.

Does this make any sense at all?

Was your car running when you had them on? Meabe they are pulling too much from the battery....

A fuse would make more sense if it kept blowing the one you have in, which its not. "Upgrading the fuse" only puts more current through the wire than it was designed to hold. You could probably safely go up to 5a bigger, but much more than that i beleieve you could see problems.

I don't see what the point of upgrading a fuse would be, its not blowing the fuse you have now so why would putting a larger one in make any difference? Switching to a larger fuse isn't a good idea anyways as the circuits were designed for a specific amperage & they have installed a fuse that is sized properly to protect the circuit. As far as I know, HID lights take alot of voltage to start but once running they draw alot less current then a normal bulb. I would think something might be defective with the kit. You say one goes out then you turn them off for abit & they will both come back on, maybe they have a temp sensor to shut them down when they get to warm?

I tried to tell the guy about the fuse also but he did not listen at all. I've also sent 2 emails and they have yet to respond. This company is terrible so far.
His reason for a bigger fuse is to pull more power. I don't think he has any clue as to what he's talking about

Your right, the guy doesn't know what he's talking about. Switching to a larger fuse will not allow it to draw more power if it isn't blowing the currect one.

If you wanted to do a really nice setup you could get a couple of relays and hook them up to your headlight switch and power off of the battery, then run a wire from the relay to the HID ballast.

Did you see where it said "Made in South Korea"? Meabe that has something to do with it...

Did you check all of your connections? Are any wires frayed or anything?

Im just throwing ideas out there for you... Meabe if you tried to switch the sides the hids are on... that could make a differance?

Good luck
