Hey I have a 98 GST thats completely stock other than a HKS intake. I want to know if this sounds like a good upgrade path to make like 225 or more whp. Okay my plan is to get a hard intake pipe, than upic piping and a new blow off valve. THan I get a boost guage and boost controller. Than get a 14b and set it at 15psi. Suggestions and comments please.

I know we arnt suppose to tell you to go search for the answer but next time it be a good idea to look around. I know my car (1995 GS-T) has around 210-215 hp stock and if you are looking for just 225 why go through all the trouble of upgrading the turbo. Get a better intake pipe ie dejonpowerhouse.com and then any good 3 inch cat back to a cat eliminating down pipe would definatly get you into that 225 range. Read the upgrade path under tech guide for the 275-300 hp range.

If all you plan on doing is getting a 14b and boosting it to 15psi you don't need a 255 pump. Hell, you don't even need a 190 pump for 15psi on the 14b.

Since you have a T25 you would be better off going to a Big T28 since it is a direct bolt on. If you don't want to go the T28 route, I'd recommend a B16G or the Evo III 16G. If you decide to get any of these 3 turbos the 190 pump will be fine. To use a 255 pump without any overrun issues you will need to get an AFPR. Obviously you'll need more than just a pump to be able to max out any of these turbos.

Here is what I suggest:
1) Cat back exhaust system
2) Hard Intake pipe with upgraded filter
3) Upgraded upper and lower intercooler pipes
4) Upgraded Blow-off valve
5) Boost Gauge
6) Boost controller
7) Set stock T25 to 15psi.

FYI - Above 16psi the T25 will start to blow hot air.

EDIT: Forgot the filter.

Follow what ^^^ said. But I would say go with MHI EVO 3 16G, the wally 190, and a turbo-back exhaust 3" or 2.5" which ever you want. The BOV, HICPs( Upper & Lower), Boost controller, Boost guage, and hard intake pipe with filter, and these aren't in any specific order, look at the upgrade path page for the best order to put most of these on.

For 225 whp I would do pretty much exactly as DGajre777 laid it out for you. If you do decide on a turbo upgrade and don't plan on making 300 whp, I would suggest a T28 due to better boost control (from my personal experience, other people may disagree).
