upgrade path help.

first off, After reading everything I could On the Upgrade paths for basic HP upgrades (I'm looking into Stage 1) I Was wondering did whoever wrote those leave out tuning software and engine management stuff in this stage because it is not needed or is it just assumed that you will need to buy the stuff. this is where I am a bit unsure of myself, the tuning part of it all, (if anyone wants to shed some light on the tuning part or has any good readings on it let me know) here is my part list so far.
Step 1. Dejon Intake pipe with K and N air filter
Step 2. Manual boost gauge -got it
Step 3. 1g Bov
Step 4. Manual boost controller
Step 5.
Step 6.
Step 7.
Step 8. 1g exhaust manifold?
Step 9. 1g exhaust housing?
Step 10.
Step 11. Dejon short rout FMIC with 1g flange
Step 12. Evo III 16 G turbo + install kit

Please feel free to fill in the blanks with sugestions and comments. thanks!
(also as of now my car is running 14 lbs of boost stock)

Doesnt that stuff only work for the eprom ecu or something?

not any more, the folks at ECMlink now have an EPROM conversion for the 96/97 ecu's but the price is a bit higher for the conversion and i don't think they have a good solid back stock of the conversion boards yet so you might have to wait in line for the. if you live in an area where there are a couple of open source tuners (someone that does EVO's and Subaru's) then you can look into doing a 98/99 ecu conversion and have them tune for you if you don't feel comfortable doing it your self.

Im getting an AEM UEGO from a friend and also an electronic oil pressure gauge, i have a boost gauge.

How you gonna tune the wideband? just putting it on is fine but it needs to be adjusted.

I guess i didnt know that . how did you tune yours? is there a hook up in the back of it for tuning software?
