well i'm gonna give it a check tomorrow if anyone else has any more suggestions im more than willing to hear them out and more than willing to tinker with stuff

in the meantime if pulleys end up being bad i'll just do the water pump timing belt and obviously pulleys all at once I have the parts so why not

ill give you a few suggestions.. im sure others might have a easier way.. but to do with the motor in..

remove the tire... drop the motor down a bit.. pull the harmanic balancer... then you can jack the motor up on the side to remove the side mount and you can pull the timing cover off in one peice..

cool, thanks will definitely keep that in mind

As Jarod said, you can isolate the noise by pulling exterior belts. From the sound of it (and I know we are listening to a youtube vid), it does sound like it is in the timing belt area. When was the last time you did the timing belt? If you don't know or its close to 60k, obviously go ahead and replace them anyway (since you already have them). If it is an idler pulley, you could be moments away from new valves :coy:

Ok replacing the tensioner and idler pulleys/bearings I should be ok right?

I just bought the car maybe a month ago more than likely the 60K service was never done on it

Definitely a nasty rattle that I've heard before. My opinion is like everyone is telling you. The idlers or water pump or even a combo of both. You really want to get this resolved because as bullet said, you could be looking at valvetrain damage soon if the belt pops.

Ok changed out timing belt and water pump and tensioner and idler pulleys and discovered my hydraulic tensioner needed to be changed so I did. I put it all back together turn on the car and it's idling really weird then got the p1390 cel, what did I do wrong?

It sounds like you need to double check your timing.
