HELP!!!! Mitsubishi Eclipse GT 2001

Well my 01 Mitsubishi eclipse gt's auto theft lock has turned on does anyone know how to disable the anti theft system???? Thanks

If it's like the 2g eclipses, put your drivers key in the passenger side door lock turn to the right. This will work your if alarm went off by itself, it could mean you have a bad alternator. Mine, was bad in my 2g gs it would off on its own till I dismarmed it.

If you need a new alrm key chain thing, ebay has oem's for dirt cheap.

And yes, I would also try the key in the passenger door as that's worked for me on numerous cars
