Headlight help! burnt out... :/

if its the same as a 1g, its incredibly easy. unscrew cap, pop off paperclip looking retainer, bulb and wire come out, unplug bulb, plug in new bulb, align in housing, clip in paper clip wire looking thing, screw cap back on.

I think if you tried a few times and timed yourself you can get it down to less than 1 minute, (with new bulb still in packaging)

My headlight burnt out on my 1998 GS and heard you have to remove the front bumper to replace the bulb? Silly question but is this true? Thanks guys.

No, you absolutely do not have to pull the bumper. I have replaced mine 3 times in as many months and its taken me less then 2 minutes each.

If your worried about it, buy them at the autoparts store and ask them to put them in for you. Shouldn't be an issue.

Do you really think thell put them in for you?

I know they put in the wipers and batterys. I never new they do lights. But I would rather do them my self as I dont really want other people working on my car unless they know there dsm stuff.

I'm the same way too, so much so that i even change my tires on my rims myself, the only time someone else but me puts a wrench on my cars is when i need an alignment. But for someone like the OP something like that could be useful.

Do you have aftermarket or stock headlights? I know the ebay ones only have 1 bolt holding them in and its completly visable. Thats if your taking the head light out.

Lol I feel you guys on the not letting people wrenching on it. Too many bad experiences with mechanics reading stuff out of internet printed repair manuals and breaking other shit. If something breaks on it, Id rather be held responsible. And yeah, they are stock ones. Thanks for the help guys, much appreciated.
