With some of us stuck at home all the time with the quarantine was seeing wana have a small competition and take a guess at what my car will make. Getting tuned on May 1st. 99 Gst spyder. It was originally tuned on a dynopak and made 211 whp 268ft tq. Mods were hks 60mm exhaust , Megan dp, ets fmic, custom IC pipe , custom intake, walbro 255, speed density , hks bov, stock t25.
Now will be tuned by same tuner and same dyno. The added parts, 3in custom exhaust, deatschwerks 550cc injectors , FP exhaust manifold , BC stage 2 cams and cam gears , Garrett big T28, AEM FPR. I'm hoping for atleast 270whp. My mechanic thinks 280whp. Whats your guess?

Air Dyno: 1 million horsepower, invisibility and complementary cannons :D

But seriously, I'd say that 275 sounds about right. I'm not as familiar with the big t28, but iirc it's similar to big 16g variants. Only way to know is run it!

258

Hmm really? My tuner said the 550cc should be good for 350whp. My evo made 338 no problem on stock injectors.
I made 280HP at the wheels on a Mustang Dyno on a walbro 450 and 1000cc injectors on a ported 14b at 22psi. I had a fairly restrictive exhaust at the time though.

In all fairness you were tuned on a mustang dyno. Those dynos read really really low. Those are heartbreak dynos. If I made 250 on a mustang dyno I would be very happy. 280 like yourself , would lead to cartwheels LOL.

I think it just depends on what you use to tune it. Back then people were using maf translators, which imo aren't the best. It's better than a Safc but still. The most I ever made before I went built motor and standalone was about 285whp, that was with a big 16g (22psi) and a maf translator. The tune was fat because I was also spraying a 125 shot to. The 285 was on turbo only though.

I should've mentioned this. Ecmlink is what I have.

Sweet. Not bad at all. So going by what everyone else posted, the cams gave you about 30-40
Could be. Wish i knew. But seems a fair assessment giving the other mods. I was at 80% duty cycle on these 550 injectors

Thats sick! Glad to see you're in the 300s!

Yes I'm very satisfied for the mods. I was only looking to make 270ish. On the t25 I only made 211 whp. So to see this huge jump to 320 on boltons is really exciting
