UNDER_PRESSURE said:I would go with the type S, the Type R is for high boost applications. Needless to say you'll be happy with the type s.
UNDER_PRESSURE said:Minimum for the Type R I believe is 18 psi if i'm not mistaken. Like I said before though the Type S is a good BOV and in my opinion the Type R is overkill.
Strm Trpr said:Not to mention, but if you have hard IC Pipes, flanged for a greddy bov, then the Type R is way too tall, and you'd have hood clearance issues.
If I were you I'd buy the Greddy Type RS.
It's much better looking than that purple crap the Type S has.
Plus it have a larger valve inside of it.
I can sell you my Type S and I'll buy a new Type RS.
I'll sell it to you cheap.
Make me an offer...
Strm Trpr said:If you're still on the soft IC pipes, then you'll have to buy an adapter kit for the type S to mount to your soft IC pipes.
You might want to look into some Greddy IC Pipes.
I think they're going for like $200 or so.
You already have the intake, that Type S and hard pipes will make a huge improvement on boost delivery and best of all sound.
PM me your email address and I'll send you pics this weekend.
