GM Maf + Safc2

Would there be a point in running a maft and safc 2? or just use a data logger and tune the maft?

I mean this in a nice way but sell that half made stuff and buy ecmlink even v3 lite for $425. If you do some searching about safc and maft thread you will get alot info. You will only get so far with those devices and I not recomend them becuase there not so safe once you take them so far. If you decide to use them make sure you got a wideband and dial em in the best you can. You only really need them if you have bigger then stock injectors and tune on pumpgas at wot 11:1. Just don't blow it up I don't want you to have to let your nice car sit on the driveway over cheap electronics failing.

SAFC and MAFT isn't cheap electronic those parts been out longer then Link. There is no point in buying Link if the OP isn't trying to make a lot of power. OP is your not looking to run more then 650cc injector then SAFC and MAFT would be fine. If you want more tuning abilities then you should look at getting Link, custom burnt chip or Ostrich.

Well I was looking at 750 or 780 that's what my buddy told me for my 16g I'm gonna be getting an evo 3 big 16g or a bastard 20g I think it's called but that won't be till late summer. What size should I run for a 16g?

If you are planning to run the SAFC as mentioned you will be fine with a set of EVO injectors (560cc). I am sure that most will agree that once we start modding our car; we will eventually want more power so If you have the extra money get Ecmlink V3. You will be very thankful of yourself.
I got rid of my SAFC and never looked back. Your call.

That's a bad way to look at determining which size of injector you need. Instead look at what the 16G flows (Big, Small, Knock-Offs all flow differently) and determine what kind of airflow/horse power you'll be making and go from there.

There is a nice set of calculators/spreadsheets that can do this for you posted here on this site.

You should set a goal and decide on what turbo you want run. No one here can tell you an exact answer since there so much variable to it. Since your looking to run more then what the SAFC can handle my suggestion would be sell the MAFT skip the SAFC and buy Link or Ostrich. Then you can run bigger injector then 780cc and have the abilities to control timing, fuel and much more.

not telling you what to do or buy but here is my experience.

I am running an evo 3 16g @26psi with 680cc injectors. Safc2 and a wideband o2. I will be getting ECMlink as my next mod along with a gm maf (don't need the maft with link) but its running just fine as is. As long as you stay under 650s-680s you will be ok on a safc.
