Hey guys i am planning on upgrading my whole exhaust but i want to make sure i wont recieve any boost creep. I have done alot of research but i got a few extra questions and to make sure this will be fine.

First my car is all stock but i want a 3in catback made by the muffler shop a punishment racing 3in DP and a ported or stock E3 o2 housing. Will this setup make me get any boost creep on my stock turbo. I also plan on getting a big E3 turbo in a few month so i want this setup to work with both turbos.

Also i got a 2.5 inlet muffler so i know i need a 3in muffler aswell. The muffler is unknown as i bought the car with it on it. It looks nice and sounds good so i want to keep it. So is there a way to cut the inlet and grind to make a 3in hole and weld the pipe to the muffler? or anything else i could do?

I am open to any suggestions so let me know what you guys think. Thanks in advance.

I think you should be fine with a bigger exhaust and small turbo. I had a small 13g turbo on my past 1g dsm, and it had full exhuast with zero signs of boost creep. Let that little t25 breath, plus your going to upgrade eventually anyways.

What is the outlet of the muffler? 3 inch or greater? If so, than have the exhaust shop cut off the 2.5 inch inlet and weld it right to your 3inch straight pipe (the catback).

Personally I say get a different muffler, you can find a 3inch muffler anywhere for fairly cheap. Your exhuast will sound completely different anyways since you are getting all new piping so I wouldn't bank on it sounding the same. You dont want to run 3 inch exhaust and then have the exhaust get smaller at the muffler.:nono:

Goodluck..feel free to post a before and after video of the exhuast tone:hellyeah:
