Anyone know where I can still get a 2.5" turbo back? I'd even go with stock...but the only OEM part I can get is the down pipe from Mitsubishi for like $189, and the aftermarket cat for like $150 from walker.

I called Bushur but they will only do 3". I really don't have a need for one that big, and I don't need to be obnoxiously loud.

I saw Diamond Star Specialties, but a call to them only gets an answering machine.

I could do a Megan Racing 3", but then I don't have a street legal cat. I'm looking for a truly bolt-on/direct fit and ...I'm kinda stuck, so if anyone has any suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate it.

If you really insist on 2.5 your best bet is to buy a muffler and take it to a exhaust shop and they will make your exhaust for you.

I bought my current exhaust from ebay, and it sounds amazing and for the price i would do it again.

3 inch isnt loud if you have a few resonators, a cat, and a good muffler. Almost close to sounding stock but with a deeper tone.

If you don't want to build it and can't find a complete one then a muffler shop is a great place to get it done. A lot of us on here look for the best flow and 3" is the preferred diameter size.

Ordering on ebay scares me. I'm just afraid I'll get a piece of junk and it won't bolt up correctly, then I'm out the money for shipping back which won't be cheap!

Ok, since I can't find a quality 2.5 inch anywhere, I'm just gonna jump up to the 3". I'm getting my hands on a Megan Racing 3" DP for a great price thanks to a new friend. Going to go with an MR test pipe...and hope I can pass inspection when the time comes... I'm probably going to skip the cat back and get a local shop to fab a SS mid pipe for me, and the only thing I'm unsure of is the muffler.

Right now I'm thinking either the M-VO from Megan...again, or something from Magnaflow. I want to avoid the whole coffee can look (no offense). I think a 3.5" tip is ample. I want a nice, deep sound. Nothing that sounds "ricey" and isn't obnoxious at higher RPMs especially considering my 40+ minute drive to work every day is mostly around 65-85 MPH.

Any input from anyone's experience?
