i wanna get a new exhaust manafold...mine has a crack....and im also looking at eventualy making this a turboed car...but everything im finind i cant find any instructions on how to add a blow off valve to my non turbo exhaust system... im assuming that someone here has already don that.

Please help

The blow off valve goes on the intercooler, not the exhaust system, and a turbo manifold is completely different from a non turbo one, so when you turbo your car you will have to buy another one, if I remember correctly there is nobody that makes any kind of adapters to use the same manifold. Its either one or the other.

I understandthat both the turbo header and the non turbo header are differnt..i can see taht..waht im asking is when i put the nonturbo exhaust manafold on my car, where do i add the blow off vaulve since normaly it is attached to the manfold. The reason i am asking is becasue i dont see anywhere where there is a nonturbo exhaust system with a blowoff vaulve attached to it

Becasue i was always under the impretion that the blowoff valve/Waste gate were the samwe thing..but now i see tehy are different.

You have no need for a blow off valve, which would be located on the intake side of the engine. It is for evacuating the charge pipes when you close the throttle.

Nor do you need a wastegate, which allows exhaust gas exiting the engine to by-pass the turbine wheel in order to limit boost pressure.

If you will be turbocharging your NA car in the future, save your money on a worthless NA header and put it towards your turbo build.

As in: if you insist on buying a manifold and a wastegate, but them to fit whatever turbo you plan on using.
