Awd non turbo

I am wanting to build a car for my wife. Was considering buying an awd shell, and swapping in a 4g64 from eagle summit minivan awd,, or using the summit awd drive train in a DSM shell. Was wondering what would be the best way to approach this. I have seen eagle summit vans converted to 4g63 turbo.

End result, I want to build an awd NON TURBO. Thanks!

2 reasons for wanting to build a non turbo awd dsm: First, I dont want to have to maintain 2 turbo charged cars. She is hard on vehicles, and its better to have the increased reliability of a naturally aspirated car,, and she dosent care about going fast,, just likes the look. Second, just to do it. Plus,,awd is pretty much mandatory for winter driving. I think a 2.4 NT awd would be plenty quick enough on the street.

The 4g63 is no more reliable than the 4G63T..

Kill two birds with one stone, dude. Get her a late 90s NA Impreza, the Martina Navratilova edition, preferable with a rainbow bumper-sticker, and then sit back and wait for the ensuing threesome.

If this works..Then it looks like I will be looking for an imprezza pretty soon..

I just thought about this....Some evo 7's had 5 speed auto transmissions..What about a dsm rear, evo engine and evo7 auto tranny and tcase?

It would have to be a NT 2g for that swap.

Correct..It would have to be a n/t 2g for that swap...But then I could have my evo and be auto...And still drive a dsm..Kinda weird but it makes sense in my brain..

But then..I also wonder if the evo 7 auto tranny would swap into an evo 8..
