Hey Everyone,
Vehicle is 1990 Eagle Talon Tsi AWD. Pretty sure its Federal as well.
So I have seen multiple diagrams of how the 1g DSM vacuum lines should be, I guess I just wanted to confirm if this setup makes any sense.
I'm assuming the solenoid all the way to the right is the fuel pressure solenoid? It is capped off.
Fuel Pressure Solenoid Looks like it is plugged/capped on one end, and the other end seems to go to one of the nipples coming off the throttle body towards the passenger side of the car. The last line seems to be looped into what I think is the Evaporative Emission Purge solenoid? This seems all wrong to me, although I'm pretty sure the car has been running like this for too long.
I do have an aeromotive fuel pump regulator. My understanding is that I should have one of the ports from the solenoid going into the AFPR vacuum source line, and the other going to the intake manifold port/nipple ( Circled in red on the intake mani image below). The other side is correct in being capped off.
Whereas the Evaporate Purge Solenoid should not be looped in to the FPR at all. It should be going to the canisters and purge control valve.
Does that make sense?
