Front toe adjustment problem - tie rod too long?

Nope - SPC UCA.
What is the front camber set to? Are the arms maxed out for camber?
I'm curious about this possibly being related to the SPC UCA's. I'm trying to visualize it right now.

If it matters, I have both arms maxed out and I do not have any issues with my front toe. My ride height puts my lateral arms at EXACTLY parrallel. (I know, sweet story, right?)
Just trying to help narrow down the variable.

Dude, get lost. Everyone knew that the rod was going to have to be shortened with the current parts. The whole point is WHY.

We are both on the same setup with SPC arms set to max caster and -2.6* of camber up front. The arms can still be adjusted for camber in both directions (negative and positive).

His lateral arms look pretty darn parallel. We haven't put an angle finder or level on them to check exactly, but they're not noticeably angled up or down.

Just to close this...I corner balanced and aligned my car again this weekend and still had issues getting the toe in check. So we just hacked a few threads off each inner tie rod and now have full adjustability. Still never figured out why, but problem solved.

Not to raise this from the grave, but I had similar issue with my old setups. First setup was the SPC A-arm, then again had the same issue with a stock arm with SPC adjustable balljoint AND adjustable anchors installed (anchors at max inboard adjustment). I can dig my notes back up, but was right around -2.8* camber and just could not get the toe zeroed.

Now I'm on a modified stock arm with the SPC adjustable balljoint reversed @ -2.6* and toe is zero'd . . . until I max out the balljoint. Looks like I'll be trimming the tie-rod if I want to dial in some more negative camber.
