Inner Tie Rod Tool

Anyone know what the tool is called to remove the inner tie rods and where I can get one? I was hoping autozone might have them to rent...

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but do I have to drop the steering rack if I don't have this tool?

I just listed a tech article for ITRE's a couple days ago.

I've found a pipe wrench sufficient to break the grip of the lock washer. In an earlier discussion, a member reported removing them with large channellock pliers. I tried this for kicks without much success. I guess I would have needed to get a lot angier first.
