hmm my 1g water pipe in front of block does not have a spot to put the turbo coolant hose..... can i just tap it and add a line?

also what do you use to block off a line?

right under my water neck their are 2 ports for hoses, right now they are looped.
if i use the upper one for the top coolant line on the turbo... how can i close the other line off? since it is brass i can't weld it shut. and i don't want a silicone cap as i want it to last and never to have to worry about it again.

If your 1g water pipe does not have the port for the turbo coolant line then it must be a non turbo water pipe. I wouldn't just drill and tap it as it is thin walled and the threads won't have anything to hold. You would have to weld a threaded bung on it or just get an actual turbo water pipe.

To loop the lines just run a hose from the port on the lower portion of the thermostat housing to the port on the end of the water pipe (near the water pump). To block it off, i'd have to check that perticular nipple, but most of the nipples/ports on the thermostat housing are screwed in so you could screw it out and screw in a plug or bolt to block it off. Looping would be simpler, blocking it off would look cleaner.

Can you post a picture of your thermostat housing and water pipe? I'm having a hard time telling exactly what you are describing.

Well its not pretty, thats for sure, but it might work. What did you do with the other turbo coolant line? (number 30 in this diagram) (does that go to the nipple that you welded?)

You do have the turbo thermostat housing but apparently you have the non-turbo water pipe. I think thats what mislead and confused us the most.

yeah #30 is the one i welded on to the water pipe
