I was wondering if it would be better to rebuild the front end or just scrap the car? Went head on into a telephone pole at 30 mph. damage is limited to hood, bumper, radiator, headligjhts. I am still unsure if frame got bent or not.

Post some pics.. My front was pretty beat up from rear ending a truck, its still not 100% strait, but i was able to rebuild the front of mine enough for now.

i've seen whole radiator supports for sale somewhere... it could be fixed. just gonna take some serious man hours. and i don't know about where you live, but one of our dealers has a collision shop with a frame alignment lift. i'd search around for what's available to you before you make your final decision.

Kt is right. It COULD be fixed, but from the looks of your pics it looks like you hit more on your drivers side which more then likely tweaked you subframe. If you did fix it you would have to take it to a shop where they could put it on a frame machine and straighten it..

My opinion. The car CAN be repaired. You can buy the parts you need from the junk yard. Your most likely going to have to replace the radiator support, so you will need someone who can weld, the rest should be fairly simple.

sure you could try and sell the car or part it out, but unless you have the money to go buy another car, your not going to get much more than $1000 for the car, or unless your insurance is going to cover the car, i would try and fix the car.

Does the car run or did it crush the radiator? What about the A/C condenser and the fans? If you find a 2G at a junk yard, you can rip all the parts out. You will need a new radiator support ($149 on eBay), remove yours and have the new one spot welded. Depending on the damage, you might be able to hammer out your current one, but you won't know until you take the headlights and bumper cover off. Pop the hood and take some better pics.

I got the hood opened up and it looks like the the bumper mounts caved in some on both sides. The radiator support rip off the driver side frame and bent it down as well. the condenser and radiator is shot as is one of the fans. The header looks like it got some the impact as well due to it now touching the block a little. here are a couple pics I took.

Take the radiator and condenser out and start hammering out the radiator support frame. If it doesn't straighten out, you may need to have a new one spot welded.

It does not look that bad. I've seen worse collisions that have gotten fixed 100%. You just need a new radiator support, but definitely take it to a frame shop to check for alignment.

If the airbags did not deploy, then the frame did not bend. Airbags deploy from a sensor that detects the frame tweaking...signifying an accident. I had a little fender bender like that. I bought a new hood, front bumper, and used a dent puller and straightened my radiator support 85 percent. I mean it's not BRAND NEW perfect, but no one can even notice, and I can get where I need to go. People are still surprised when I explain to them it's been in an accident, haha.
