the frame is pushed in and collapsed into its self a little (bad pic sorry) and the floor where the spare is kept is crumpled about a half inch. Is it fix able?

I'm EXTREMELY pissed off.

Anything is fixable, but are you willing too, and costs or labor involved is the question, gotta get that right or the bumper may not fit, been there with body repairs, shops and accidents in same are.

Well if its fix able I'll just put it some where and swap the engine into my good shell when I finally pick it up. The pic's a terrible one though it doesn't show the damage and the other ones I tried uploading didn't work. The only reason I bought the car was to save money and not keep going into debt each month but there goes that one.......

I'll try and get some better pic's here quickly.

I used to do auto body so here is an easy recommendation! You can do one of two things. 1. Take it to a shop and be ready to fork over some cash because frame work is not cheap! 2. Go buy a come-a-long from harbor freight and find the nearest tree and start pulling but make sure you have a way of measuring such as a tape measure to keep it true! Definitely do not want to over pull it and stretch the metal! Good luck.

I thought about using a come along but I have no clue where to put it where it wont cause more damage, and how to keep the car from rolling/sliding back. plus part of the frame collapsed inwards and split in the middle.

no, the quater panels fine, the only damage is on the frame and trunk floor. Everything else isn't bent or miss formed at all that's why I didn't even suspect the frame was damaged I was littlerly shocked when I seen it was compressed a half inch plus very angry!

I suspect you didn't pay a premium for it so I would fix it as good/cheap as you can and enjoy it. The damage doesn't look like it would cause issues besides the bumper fitting poorly and getting water in the trunk area.

A cut 2x4 and a BFH can get you close to what your looking for. A come-along and a tree would work great, as for hooking it to the frame, a C clamp would work, or there is a tool with teeth that the more you pull on it the tighter it gets, I just can't remember the name of it.

The main problem is in my province if the vehicle comes from out of province or is in an accident it has to go through a top to bottom frame am mechanical inspection. Anything that is off from spec will cause a complete fail. And well this car was in an accident, I knew the bumper frame was damaged beyond repair but for some reason or other when I looked in the trunk I don't know how I didn't see crumple.......maybe it was just the DSM fever or what!

So I guess general consensus use a tree and a come along to straighten. Hopefully doing that will also help pull it apart where the frame collapsed into its self and split. I'll try it this Sunday and see how it goes, fingers crossed!

oh does anyone know the all bolt sizes for the rear bumper skins? I broke EVERY one of mine trying to take off my bumper skin.

Thank you all for the help! Much appreciated!

could cut out the trunk and sheet metal it custom it i die so i can fit a 18 in tire in it and i get more room too

Nah I already have a set of 17's from my last DSM and 18 are well..... WAY to big for my liking. I'd even prefer 16's over 17's but I got what I got wheel gap or not, nothing a set of coil overs couldnt solve. Plus when I pick up my other body I'm going to build that one and then sell this one probably.
