Hello,

Two days ago I was in an accident where a minivan hit me on the driver's side at a high speed. My entire 97 eclipse gs-t's driver side crumbled in, fortunately no one was injured. This is so depressing for me, but it is beyond repair. However, the engine is still perfect as is the leather interior, lights, new tires, spoiler, brakes, etc. The door and frame are crushed/bent. So, what should I do? Take it to the dump, part it out, but I am not good with cars at all and can't do that myself. Is there any money I can get out of this?

Also, I didn't have collision on the car and since technically I was at fault (albeit we both were) I just lost all the money I bought it for.

Depressed.

Buy it back, have it towed to a shop. You can salvage all of the interior and exterior, and basic engine parts. I guess they could pull the engine for you, and you can sell it.
