So when I shift hard or do anything but baby the gas after shifting my rear end thumps I see that the culprit is a bushing in the middle of the rear end right in front of the dif (if your looking from the back of the car).
What bushing is that? And how can I replace it without dropping the rear end if possible...
Also should I replace several bushings back there while I'm at it? And if so which ones?
Thanks

Your best bet is to go through Road Race Engineering if you want the poly/alum bushings which provide a nice combination of smooth ride and support, or go super stiff with the solid aluminum bushings that greengoblin or black_gst makes, cant remember which. You will find those in the freelancer section of the classifieds. I'll be picking up some solid pieces soon, I have the exact same issue.
...im gokg down south to visit my sister anyway so ill just pop into RRE and have them do it for me... Btw they have 2 sets of bushings now... A harder set... I would look into those before you choose to go full aluminum
