Front End!

Ok so I'm driving around tonight and the front end has always made me wonder a bit but I figured it's just getting used to the AWD and road noise and allsince i've only had my Talon about a month. My friend drove up next to me and said the front passenger wheel looked like it was woobling a little bit. And to me inside teh car that's what it seemed like. Any idea what this could be? Or anyone have similiar problems?

try tighting the lug nuts

Also grab the wheels and give them a good shove forward and back ( actually side to side in reference to the car but since you will be facing the tire it will be forward and back in reference to yourself ) make sure everything feels tight. Also look closely at your wheels to make sure their not bent. If that doesn't work jack it up and spin the tire and see if you can see it wobbling.

Well I will go check the lug nuts now and there's a good place here in wichita call Axle, Wheel and Alignment, I will take it down to soon and have it realigned and have them check everything out to make sure it is ok. Thanks for the advice, because I know nothing about this part of the car. I'll keep it all posted.

it was the lugnuts, thanks. Easy fix that I should've checked but I was tired last night and just left the car at home. I guess there has been some problems with people doing that at school off and on through the years. just stupid and dangerous if you ask me. well thanks again.

i put blue threadlock and a rubber washer on my lugnuts when i get them. and i torque em down to 90 pounds a lug. they dont go anyware and there easy to get back off.

I don't think I would trust a rubber washer holding my wheels on. Plus torquing them down would deform the rubber and squish most of it out anyway. The blue threadlock may not be a bad idea but I have never heard of properly torqued bolts coming loose. The main reason lug nuts fall off is because 80 percent of "professional" tire changers are untrained, incompetent, and don't care about their job or customers.
Most places don't torque the wheels and many don't balance the rear tires, if they even do the fronts. If you can't change your own tires or need to take your car to a tire shop having a trustable, reliable, competant tire guy is priceless.
