I just bought my first DSM (96 Eclipse RS 5 Speed) this weekend and this is my first time on this forum so im new. Well basically my question is that.. is it possible to swap the 96 front end to a 97-99 front end? The lights and the front end of the 97-99 looks a lot more aggressive than the 96. Im sure there are plenty of possibilities for my car but this is one of the first exterior mods i would like to do. Im thinking all i need to do is buy the headlights and bumber and bolt them on. I hope its that easy just let me know thanks.

yea it bolts right on. Only thing is there will be a slightly larger gap at start of your headlights (towards the middle of your bumper).

Yes you can. Asuming you mean the 97-99 Eclipse front.

You need:
97-99 Eclipse front bumper
97-99 Eclipse headlights (not Talon)
Optional 97-99 fog lights and fog light bezel/or foglight delete bezels.

Still getting used to the forum but okay. I found another thread that discusses this. So im going to have to swap everything over.. bumber and lights. I hope i can find oem because sometimes the ebay stuff is junk

Does anyone know some good places to find quality parts at a decent price? Nothing against ebay but sometimes it is not very good

also check with S&M Auto Parts (aka Miller Import Parts) in Kannapolis just north of Charlotte. They could ship you the headlights (pretty reasonable prices too) The guy that runs it is on DSM tuners.

Got inspired and went to the junk yard where I am, Got everything for $70 then took some time to sand and repolish the headlights, cut the bumper accordingly around my front mount, made spacers for the fogs and painted the bumper. This is how she turned out.. Under a $100
