My pacestetter manifold recently cracked and ive been looking for a new exhaust mani and cant decide between the fp and evo3, I'm just wondering is the fp really worth the extra money thanks...

There was a log some time ago that was posted I think on DSMTalk that showed a nearly 20 HP jump from swapping from the E3 manifold to the FP. I can't find any active links anymore, but it was dyno proven independently.

Do you remember what power level the car was at?

As you know, i run an FP mani and i'm a big fan of them, but that seems like a very large gain unless we're talking about a high powered car. Not calling BS at all, just looking for a bit more info if you can recall.

it was like 360 with the E3 and 380 with the FP done at 24° external temperature on the FP and 25° with the E3. He is a member here I just can't recall it off the top of my head. It was on pump, same tune.

I brought the FP manifold as well when it was on sale a while back. They always have sales here and there so if you really want it wait for a sale! Only thing I don't like about it is they don't make heat shields for them and is a little to close to my radiator hose and I feel like after I drive it for a while and go to touch my hose feels like it's going to melt. Over all tho besides that one little problem I love it and glad I brought it! Good buy for the price compared to others out there!

95% of us will say FP..........Well 96% now LOL. Tried and proven

That's surprisingly good, IMO.

I remember someone posting a 7whp gain but i can't remember who it was, or what power level.

JMF also produces a heat shield that will work with the FP mani, I have it on my car. The only down side is it is a pain to attach and it doesn't stay super tight once attached.

last time i checked they quit making them. do you have a link on where to get one, cause i've been looking for months

I think i saw that too they stopped making them if if got a fp i would have it ceramic coated, all hotside stuff. Still working on doing another set up in the long run.
