After having link for over a year i was bored and decided to hook up the Uego for logging. I didnt know at the time i bought the wideband that they sucked for logging. I went through Gofer's write-up and video. Everything is stop on minus the fact when WOT i tune to 10.5-1. The actual gauge reads 10.5 and sometimes blips to 10.3 or 10.7. Now the logs read 10.5 to 10.6. Is it common for logged wideband not to pick up every little hiccup that the actual gauge makes? :hmm:

Yes, this is normal. The software takes the voltage inputs from the gauge and translates it to an AFR you see in your logs, you saw this when you setup the LinearWB gauge settings watching that video. That being said, if you told the ECU to log 10.8:1 if the gauge is inputting 1.05v (for example) so the ECU can only log what the gauge is inputting which is a known issue with the AEM widebands.

You could see a deviation from 10.5 - 10.8:1 but if the voltage going to the ECU doesn't oscillate enough the AFR being logged isn't going to deviate from where it's at. That's why, in the video, I only recommend you try to accurately log from your WOT tuning AFR (11:1 or 0.75 Lambda) and STOICH (14.7:1 or 1.00 Lambda) which gives you more resolution. There's no need to try to accurately log anything leaner than 14.7:1 or richer than 11:1 because, at that point, rich is too rich and lean is too lean.
