What do you guys do with the old connection that had the o2 sensor, do you take the sensor out and wrap up the connector?

So what options do I have then as far as with the oem sensor? Do I get an additional o2 bung installed and leave the oem one in the factory spot and put the second one on the down pipe?We try to get people to keep their front narrowband O2 sensor operational because wideband sensors don't seem to have the same lifespan and the car doesn't run as well when the O2 quits.
Yes, that's the best. Clearly it's not what everyone does but the shortcut often comes around and bites them in the rear.Do I get an additional o2 bung installed and leave the oem one in the factory spot and put the second one on the down pipe?
