AEM UEGO WB problems

Any time when its quite hot out my gauge seems to glitch and freak out, when its cooler out it works fine.

by glitch i mean it repeatedly reboots (111,222,333,444,555,666,777,888,999 uo6 p00) over and over again, sometime when its doing this it will get stuck and reboot again, like it will get to "444" and then glitch and reboot again.

Has anyone had this issue?

It seems to be heat related, and a gauge only problem.

out of warranty, I figured id have to replace it, but hoped there might have been a simple fix.

I had that happen to me and it was the wideband sensor, also if it is a poor power or ground source that can also cause that

That is the sequence the gauge does when it's first powered on. If yours is repeating that process, then the gauge is resetting repeatedly. This is due to an inadequate power source or ground. Keep in mind that any wideband controller will draw several amps as it runs a heater which is in the O2 sensor itself.

The ground should be hooked directly to a good clean chassis ground, and the power should go directly to ignition or an ignition fuse. The radio, accessory power, cigarette lighter etc is NOT an acceptable power source.

seen this MANY times on these gauge installs, most times i've found it to be the polug coming out the back of the gauge once installed, other times it's the ground being poor, never found one that wasn't fixxable to this day when doing that though, always been loose or bad connections at the plugs or grounds like i said
