Which would be better for cooling? I dont plan on going much bigger then a 16G much later down the road but for now just a T28. Also i can't find the pictures of whoever had this first fmic mounted without the bumper on.

Either will be fine for cooling a 16G, at any boost level it could put out. Andy M. was pushing 24psi on a Dejon SMIC, so a FMIC can cool more then that.

I use the Dejon FMIC...love it, I even got thin mesh over the bumper opening, it barely affects airflow, you can't even tell its there.

Love it! I run 20PSI on my EVO3 without issues.
