first time at track

Tonight was my frist time ever running down the track. My car has no aftermarket parts other than DSMlink which i havnt used other than the stutter box. I have a hacked/custom cold air filter and ported turbo. Also running open O2 housing.....no exhaust...... Running stock boost around 14 psi. I ran a 13.61 at 99.8 mph. with a 2.1 60 ft........1/8th was a 8.7 at 80.8 mph. I felt pretty good running that for my first time downt he track. Im getting a horrible stutter inbetween 3rd and 4th so i think i could hit a 13.4 after fixing the stutter. Id post a video if i knew how and some time slips. just thought id share and get some opinions on the first run yet

Next time I'm sure you will squeek out the other .2 mph to make it 100 (or more)

all i can say is DAMN! thats a awsome time! were u running race gas? post a log of a run to help fix the stutter.

I was running 93 octane. Im very happy with that run seeing as i put the engine together and everything my self in about 6 hours. Pistons in and in the car then fully reassymbled. Ill try to get a log on in a few mins

are you just comming off a fresh rebuild?did u use stock internals?

ITs a junk yard engine that had jumped timing. Has some awesome dents on the pistons. Had like 56K on and ive put about 650 miles on it. havnt ever checked compression either

wow jealous thats a great time. some people luck out with their cars, ive seen 1gens run low 13's with intake exhaust and boost controller an im just like why not me!
