Ok, so i got my car dynoed and tuned today by AMS (home of the world's fastest evo). They did a great job, however my car did not do so hot. List of mods:
EVO III b16g
SAFC 2
550 cc inj
FMIC
k&n intake
walbro 190 fp
(see the rest in my profile)

RESULT = 240 awhp

What the CRAP!?

I'm surprise because is on Dynojet. You should be getting close to 300whp, you are right now at about ~200-210whp mustang dyno.

You need this dyno sheet hehe

at idle it kinda does a "bf bf bf bf bf bf bf bf bf bf bf bf bf bf" kinda like if i would have performance cams, but i don't have performance cams. It's supposed to be a nice smooth "bfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff" (i apologize for my descriptions).......it's real rough idle...it was actually doing this before they tuned it
WAIT STOP RUNNING IT IT SOUNDS LIKE timing Jumped May Be Wrong but try swapping to NGK Plugs and Going with a different set of wires and check for boost leaks

heh, chill out bro!

anyways, in your first post you listed your mods.
Do you have an upgraded exhaust at all?

If you go to McDonalds and get a BigMac and it don't fill you up, do you ask for a refund?

If I specifically ask for no onions and there are onions on it then yes.:p

Seriously, of course you couldn't expect a refund it just sounded like he wasn't given any information at first, "by the professionals". It seems if they are so good and I'm sure he payed good, they could have given some better insight.

You might need to upgrade ## ignition system. Looks like ## ignition is stressing to give full spark. Just my .02$ :D

LOL, i have before actually....did i receive another burger? No....

Iridiums are a negative to run in Turbo DSMs. And do you have a complete exhaust setup?

yeah i have a 2.5 inch exhaust turbo back (greddy sp)

oops, didnt check the rest of the thread, what kind of 02 and manifold are you running?? And that 2.5 exh. prob isnt cutting it.

The exhaust is probably fine. Just do as everybody is telling you...Boost leak test, and new NGK plugs, then see what happens. Both are cheap.

This is what I would do:
1) Boost leak test
2) NGK Spark plugs - NAPA or Car Quest sells them
3) New Plug wires (if you haven't changed them recently)
4) Change PCV valve (why not, they are cheap anyway, get the OEM one though)
5) Change fuel filter

Are you throwing any codes? Check engine light on?

He is running iridium spark plugs guys! Wow, all those decent mods and you are running the spark plugs that is regularly mentioned not to run on turbo dsms? :) Yea swap out and get ngk bpr7es. As well as do all your regular maintenance if you havnt done so already.
.

I'm running Autolite XP iridium plugs - i thought i read somewhere on here that turbo cars love the iridium plugs... also once i swaped from the bosch plugs that were in there, there was a noticable performance increase...

What don't DSMs like the iridium plugs??

OK thanks for the info. Hey I just changed the plugs and wires less than 200 miles ago.... check out the picture - on the plug boots where they connect to the coil pack they have white stuff on them now... is that normal?

disregaurd the arrows

Try and get a closer pic of them. I can'y quite make it out in this one.

My guess for now would be maybe corrosion? What kind of wires did you buy? Maybe the black boots are fading from the heat if they are cheap wires.

I can wipe it off with my finger.... its kind of greasy... kind of like antilock stuff.... What would cause corosion this fast? They are bosch or borg warner wires, something like that.

yeah don't use anything but the ngk 7's I pulled a dumb ass move and ransome 6's on pump gas and 16psi that plug was not happy:mad:

Interesting the 6's should perform just fine at 16psi. At least they do for me.
I don't consider 16psi to be 'high boost'. Are you using a bigger turbo? maybe the 7's are better for not just higher psi, but higher flow at said psi.

what are the noticeable differences between the 6's an 7's, i know the 7's are colder so bigger spark = more power? smoother idle? what? ive only had 6's so i dont know

7's colder than 6's... colder plugs are meant to oporate in a higher heat range. meaning, they will be able to function better the higher the combustion chamber temp. they are also designed to draw out more heat from the chamber so they themselves can remain cool and not cause pre ignition. Your car should not idle badly because of a plug, it doesn't idle in boost ;) follow what the other guys are saying, and talk to AMS more, they can help you very well!

no stock(14b)....but the car has had alot of abuse got a 14.1 at 93mph with 248,000miles but on the 7's i ran 110 leaded and 20psi withno problems... but the car had the head gasket replaced before i got the car and the could have raised my compresion
