I have attatched my very first log. It was just a idle log and no pull. In the log The rpms Idle surged out of control from 1134 to the highest around 2889 rpm. I have dont everything from replacing the ISC to replacing the ECU and nothing will get rid of the idle surge. Also, you notice at the of the log the car just dies, The car was running so rough and rich that I had to help it along to keep it running. I went over my initial setup 3 times to make sure it was correct and all my setting are correct, and I have no apparent boost leak.:banghead:

you have a cope 0014- throttle postion circuit malfunction. you need to do a better tps adjustment, and then try simulateing idle from the tps, might help a little. Also you need to dispaly and log ALL your Fuel Trims...

are you trying to run speed density??? cause your not logging a map sensor, and your base MAF is set to Speed Density...

Yes I'm running or attempting to run speed density. Also, with the tps, I think I need to adjust the throttle cable and tighten it a tad.

you want a little slack on the throttle cable, you dont want to overtighten it or your throttle plate wont close all the way,.....your TPS seams to be fine there at the end, its reading .63V which is perfect, just make sure its able to read 100% ( 5.0V )aswell.

now as for the speed density thing, your not logging anything to run speed density, such as a MAP sensor or an IAT sensor, and VE ,SDapr, SDratio... you do have a MAP sensor and IAT sensor right?? you deffinetly need a wide band of somekind to be able to make sure AFR's are accurate too...

First off, it's impossible to know if your settings in Link are accurate since your modifications list in your profile is empty, however, I'll assume that what you've got in ECMLink is correct with your mods.

I'm going to go down each tab in your Link settings and tell you the changes you need to make.
RPM/TPS - Check the "enable idle switch from TPS" box (this should fix your idle problem)
ECU Inputs - You're running SD and have the MAP setup correctly on the ECU side, however, you need to add the sensors to your log on the PC side. PC side Baro needs to show the Omni 4BAR and also include the IAT sensor you've got installed as well, that way you can see each in your logs. Also, you need to lock "intake temp and baro" by checking the box under ECU Input Locks For Factory Code.

Before you attach another log to the thread you need to add a few captured values to it, that way we can see more of whats going on. Watch this video, Datalogging - Captured and Display Values, and then go through and add these to your captured values.

...and then the IAT and MAP sensor
You should plan on getting a wideband and logging it too.

Not that it will make a whole lot of differance but I filled out the mods lists. I need to finish up installing my wideband. Got started last night but had other things to take care of.
