Ok im back to asking questions about my 92 eagle talon TSI. its awd turbo i had some major problems with running rich. Ended up being a shop towel in the intake from the previous owner. so I'm still running a little rich so it seems, and when i start it up it sounds like its running on 2 cylinders until it warms up. i found a decent sized crack on the exhaust manifold, not a hole yet but i crack probably 3 to 4 inches long. now is that why its running a little rich, and the bad start up until its warmed up? cause i have checked the turbo no play side to side and up and down and it spins freely. i tryed a turbo leak test i didnt hear any leaks. and i just went through and got new spark plugs and wires, checked the resistance of the injectors, new valve cover gasket. once warmed up its doesnt misfire, or really stutter but i think there is more power to be had and i think the exhaust manifold is the culprit. im planing on either a quick weld job until i can afford 2nd gen manifold. thanks
. again with everything on no check lights.
