exhaust/emissions???

I notice that the Apexi N1 cat back exhaust with downpipe is one of the best systems out there. but what about the CAT? does the downpipe replace the cat cause it seems to be pretty long? anyone from canada or anyone that has to deal with emissions? what type of exhaust system do you have?

not to sure about emissions in canada, but yes, the N1 does replace the cat.

ok I found this on RNR Racing's website. Will this bolt up to my Garrett Big T28? also, getting this downpipe with matching high flow cat, will the Apexi N1 cat back system bolt right up to this? I believe the N1 is also 2.5". Or just get a RNR Racing cat back with it?

yes, the RNR downpipe will fit.

The N1 catback is 3in, but it comes with a 3in-2.5in reducer to bolt up to the cat.

both the N1 and RNR are good catbacks....just get one that fits your budget.

Shouldn't make a difference, all it does combine the 02 housing into the downpipe to make it one piece, just make sure it has an 02 bung for the sensor.

it flows better than any other high flow 02 housings because there is no 02 housing! Just one long piece.
and yes it will pass emissions.

so wouldn't the best exhaust system then be:
1) o2 eliminator downpipe with o2 bung
2) high flow cat
3) apexi n1 cat back exhaust

this system will pass emissions???

im sorry guys but after reading the replies to this post i felt as if my question wasnt really answered so imma be brave and ask it anyways: I wanna get the Apexi GT Downpipe with the Apexi N1 Cat Back Exhaust. What difference will that make compared to the stock exhaust system and stock downpipe?

well I meant best exhaust in my position being in canada and having emissions... o2 elim dp with or without o2 bung? what is a o2 bung anyways? sorry for all the newbie questions...

the 02 bung or sensor is there so your car doesnt throw a CEL. and yes that would be the best steup if your worried bout emisions.
