Exedy clutch

I'm looking to get an Exedy stage 2 clutch kit. Just wondering what you guys think of the Exedy clutch, and where i can get the best deal for one.

My friend had a stage two on his wrx an his lasted two years on countless launches an poor launching cause he doesnt know what he is doing an then when he made 303 crank hp the clutch was done i highly recommend the act 2600 i like it alot i feel safe throwing all the hp i can make at it for now i know its expensive but its one of those things you just dont half ass.

Are you sure it wasn't his lasted two years on countless launches an poor launching??? Would and ACT 2900 even hold up with someone who cant drive?........

You should be fine as long as you are sure you are actually buying an Exedy Clutch

There are ebay imitations and I fell victim to one. Exedy clutches that cost $80 to $190 are and real.

I didnt like my exedy clutch at all, I only had the stage one but I will never buy one again.

I replaced my Exedy stg 2 a few months ago. I got 2.5 good years out of it. Held great. Firm pedal but it was worth it. We stopped carrying them at my work so I went ACT.

I had an exedy stage 2 clutch on my old TSI. I sold with car, and never had a problem. The clutch was a little too stiff for my liking, but other than that, its a good product. If you have choice, I'd go with ACT. My buddy has one in his GS-r, and has had car for 3+ years with no problems.
