evo rods and pistons in a 2g install

i was wondering what the precudres were to installing evo 8 rods and pistons in a 2g if it was possible without buying a hole bunch of different parts or spending a whole lot...

i heard you had to reverse the pistons or rist pins so they were facing the crank??? im lost and i need to tell my mechanic so and help wood be awsome!!!!!

You install them just like regular 2g pistons & rods. You don't need to reverse anything. You should have the cylinders checked out and at least have them honed and install new rings on the pistons.

Yes to above, I've done this twice with positive results. I would strongly suggest replacing the rod bolts.

Make sure you get the 8 rings, the 9 are different.
