2G 1G rods in 2G block and 2G pistons

Hallo. I have a 2G Eclipse (4G63 N/A, Euro model, 146HP) and i got crankwalk. I want to refubrish my crank to R1 and use 1G conecting rods. Woud those rods fit on my 7bolt crank and my 2G pistons ? or whould a complete 6bolt crank from a 1G(include the flywheel) fit on the 7bolt block?
I would do this because I don't find second hand 7bolt rods in my country.

These guys were doing engine builds with 6 bolt rods machined to fit in the 7 bolt block. They did this as a step toward avoiding crankwalk. There was a write up around here somewhere....

It seems like a legit way to help prevent crank walk.

Why don't you just swap in a 6 bolt then?

Because the wiring and the adaptations of the timing side and the homologation of the engine.
