Ga 1/2 mile update. I was able to run 4 times each timei launched the car two step 5500rpm two step. The car digs well clutch is the truth! As usual there were issues for this reason first recorded run 29psi I went 151mph recorded second run after reaching 168mph@ 36 psi the car at around 7000rpm in 5th gear started to misfire badly which knocked 22mph off of my speed just before crossing the speed monitors the announcer made a comment that I ran out of gear because they could hear the misfire and thought I was bouncing off rev limiter what a bummer.

Upon trying to fix the issue we noticed that the spark plugs caps were all loose so we pulled the plugs and tighten them all good right not exactly the misfire continued. To make a long story short my alternator was the culprit after looking at the logs it was only putting out 10.9 volts which affected everything even the fuel pumps so we called it a day. I am still here in Clayton ga the closest alternator is in Franklin north Carolina so I am headed there to get it so I can drive back home the old one crapped on me 2 miles from the hotel. Fortunately I had my son follow me up with all my tools.

I have videos. Everyone there loves the dsm! And yes I have a jackstand under the car LOL I won all races. Beat modded mustang with slicks zr1 that was spraying and two other races in attempt of trying to see if we had fixed the misfires. I'll be hitting 1/4 mile in two weeks to see what she does stay tune. I think if I could have run 44psi the car would have done some great things LOL. I'll post video once I get home.

At least you ave some runs in. What are your thought about the fwd vs awd? Are you happy with the switch?
Alternator is on misfire eliminated! I'll answer that when I get to a computer where I can type I also have a video of one my one speedo shot. Awd is amazing!

Okay here is the video taking down a modded boosted stang I hit 167 in this video and when the car started to misfire i stayed in it for a second trying to get to the speed block but my son said I hit the brakes just before the speed block or while in the speed block if you look at the video you can see the brake lights just before speed block I ruined my recorded time. I look at the computer and panic when I saw the check engine light flash indicating knock I had to brake daggumitt! my log showed peak speed of 167.7 3 seconds before braking and showing 146.6 at braking actual speed slip shows 146.2 bummer. that stang ran 140 I was killing him. 36psi run

Yeah that's what we all were saying all day Saturday. And even on my decent run my stupid butt put on brakes in the speed block. This is going to bother me until the next 1/2 mile. Here's a speedo view of my very last run the knock made me stop before I really messed up something fuel pumps was trying to operate off 10.9 volts. For some reason the battery light doesn't work but you see in this video brake light is lit up with srs light. Good thing the transmission build is solid shifts like butter as planned.

Looking at your last video i think your in the 3 second range from 0 to 60 that is crazy fast . Can't wait for the 1/4 mile race .

Yeah the close ratio should get her moving nicely down the track. It's going to very interesting to me when I turn the boost up to 44psi this is where it was set in the fwd when I dynoed 809.

Hey guys just so you know I was getting small accounts of knock the reason the engine light flashed is because I have it set to warn me even at 0 counts of knock most set theirs to warn at 2 counts.

I am surprised that no one has commented on the 6000rpm launches and the shift quality on my transmission build the rpm was having a time keep up with the foot and arm on those shifts. Lol

Judging from the video, all the 6k launch got you was wheel spin. Try that on set of slicks sticking to a prepped track a few times and the outcome may be much different...

never spun the tires at all where the heck you come up with that. Lol the rsr595 was sticking like glue.

That's what we suppose to do respond. Lsd front lsd rear I never spun I have some launch videos as well. The zr1 had drag radials te mustang had slicks if I was spinning they may have had a chance you think LOL

I can post some videos of me spinning if that's what you like to see I have several years of them!

I accept your bad. No one was spinning much on that concrete not even the viper that went 224. Look up the rsr595 they are Semi slicks and grips hard. A car that spin will show in the speedometer. I know as much as you want to be right your not. The car did its thing Saturday and wasn't even running right you stay tuned 1/4 mile is next two weeks to be exact LOL.

Example of wheel spin is at 2:05 of the video. Matthias and I run the same transmission setup. Close 1,2,3,4 and tall 5th. 3.909 I love it!

Your speedometer don't mean shit. It reacts way to slow. I trap 135+ and it reads less than 100 going through the traps. Yet if I cruise at 100+ it catches up and reads correct.

Yeah I crossed the line at 155 but was going 167. You do the math. Haters think what you want the car is not spinning. Lol. And I was running 36psi not 44. Despite the hate the success continues and will continue. You guys sound just like those v8 guys I demolished excuses excuses I'll post what the zr1 owner said to me after I whipped him got it on video forgot to turn off the gopro it was indeed priceless . Face it I built a well put together transmission plain and simple LOL.

Are you really that thick? Nobody here is hating, you just refuse to accept reality. I've spun stickier tires on real racetracks at half the power you are making. Get real, dude.

Here was my initial point, because I'm sure you didn't get it (and probably still won't after I reiterate it):

Due to the wheel spin you were experiencing, your drivetrain was spared from much of the shock load that would be placed on it had you been on a sticky track on slicks. Shock load will break transmissions, especially when applied at high power levels at high RPM. The end, no implications attached.

I'd stop tooting your own horn trying to tell everyone how great you are. Your trans may not break today, tomorrow, or even this decade. But, if you keep running the car at the power levels you are, chances are it will eventually break. Nobody here gives a damn about telling you "I told you so", so quit trying to show us all how awesome you are. Seriously, nobody cares.
 
From watching the videos I really don't care what speed your going through the traps, that is an absolute metric ton of misfiring that you are driving through instead of letting off. I cannot believe your motor is still alive.

What is wrong with you man? Noone said the car isn't fast. That's been determined. Everything you do has to be some big E penis contest. There's been cars in the 8's on the early 6266, your so far off of that, your not even near the top guys, so I'm not sure where all this un-provoked superiorism is coming.

Unlike you I have several years of 135mph traps, and 10s slips under my belt. My current trans has lasted 2 seasons of ass beatings, with no fancy snake oil gear treatments. Unlike you I applied my real life engineering experience and knowledge to modify my transmission as I saw fit to survive my abuse. I sought out the opinions of others that I felt were not as knowledgeable as I, just because I thought they might have a real life experience, or see another point I have missed. You on the otherhand dismiss any constructive criticism, as if it is some hate scheme and we are all out to get you.

For your reference, my car went 141 on a garret VGT. That's a turbo NOONE has ever ran on a dsm. In fact, very very few people have even ran a variable geometry turbo on a gas engine I think only @MarsaGSX has gone faster than me on a VGT. When you get to the top of your game come calling

Don't confuse misfire with knock. It only knocked 2counts. If if should have blown then I guess the engine is built like the transmission.

There are a few that has graduated to the ignore list LOL.
