The studs I sell physically measure the same as a stock stud I pulled out of a head here.

Sorry that you're having such a hard time with everything. Your head must have been cast on Friday and they were in a rush to hit the bar and didn't tap them all the way, I don't know. Just get a flat tap add 2MM onto the holes and keep on rocking is my only suggestion. If you're unable or unwilling to do that I don't have another suggestion other than return the kit to me.

Well its not like I went out and made a my own website about it. I simply asked for some advice from others with more experience on a forum which your a member of. That's part of the reason for these forums right?

Check post #11 for my findings with the studs. Again I'm not saying your stuff is wrong, but it doesn't match or work the same as what came out of the head.

Attacking a vendor on a site that they support, is worse than creating your own little website. Many more people will see this post since its on a forum dedicated to the vehicle the vendor sells parts for. Give a vendor a chance to make something right, before crying foul... After you've attempted to work things out, that is the time to publicly post regarding the issue.

Attacking? Wow really? I don't have time to play games and go back and forth, so I just asked what other people have experienced. Obviously I was not alone, and they admitted to having this incorrect for 6 months. It had some validity to it because they corrected their website.

It looks like case closed, the gaskets should be ok and I can either try to find the right studs or buy a tap. No biggie, got the clarification I needed.

Whoa indeed he wasn't attacking he had a valid concern we would just as an FYI appreciate if you have any questions or concerns about anything we sell that we have a chance to address it before it becomes a public thread.

Regarding the studs, you must consider that though the holes in the head are drilled and tapped to 20mm depth, only xmm depth of the threads have been used for how many million heat cycles? You dont need to tap anything, and in fact its not a good idea to use a tap. Just double nut the studs, put antiseize on them, and gently "rock" them clockwise and counter clockwise until they bottom out to the shoulder. Ive had the same issue with ARP SS exhaust studs and several OE replacement kits as well, and the method Ive described is easy and it works everytime. Dont forget to cleam and silicone the bottom middle stud:thumb:
