I will be using this on my GT35r turbo, goal is atleast 500hp. Staying with the 3 inch thick core

Is this intercooler too big or should I go with the 10.5 inch intercooler?

What exactly is the route of the intercooler piping for the 12 inch sence it comes with the "ultra short route"

What is the route for the 10.5 inch?

Anyone have any personal experience with either kits?

That is the size I went with, can't wait to get my intercooler

I'd rather get the 10.5 inch tall core, but 3.5 inches thick. Our bumpers are only but so big. The 12 inch core will be hidden behind the top of the bumper cover. The 10 inch core will offer a larger volume of intercooler in the direct path of the airflow in through the opening.

Yeah I thought about the 12 inch core being more than I actually needed. But I made my decision and hopefully everything fits well!

With that being said, what if the HP goal was to be roughly a max of about 750whp? Would it be possible to stay on the 10.5" intercooler and then just upgrade to a thicker core? Such as the 4" or 5" thick cores?

Thats about the power i have and thats what ETS recommended for me to run, 10.5 x 5"thick with 3" cold side piping! So thats what i ordered.

Well 750whp is more so a number I "hope" to get, my realistic goal on a GT4088R will be around 650-700whp with a streetable powerband. Would 5" thickness still be an extreme even between that range? And as for the IC piping would I be safe with running 2.5" or 2.75" or would it be highly recommended to run 3"?

The last question came from reading this thread: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/tur...-different-sized-intercooler-piping-flow.html
