Well I guess I recently fried my EPROM ecu by hooking the battery up wrong. So I need another one. I have a 1997 GS-T and I wasn't sure if it matters what type of EPROM I get? I have a 1g CAS black top if that matters? I have DSMLINK so I would just need to get any 2g EPROM? Does it matter if it's 5 speed or auto or FWD or AWD? Sorry!

Check with ECM Link. You might be able to just send it in and have them fix it.
Eproms for the 2gs only come out of 95s. And you'll probably have to have it socketed if it hasnt been already.
Doesnt matter about the tranny. Its controlled by a separate TCU.

Are you sure your ECU is bad from hooking up a battery incorrectly? There is a master fuse for this accident alone. Same thing if you arc on the electrical system, it blows the fuse before anything else.

The 1g fuse is an 80A.

I'm not sure I thought it was. What fuse is it on a 2g? It blew the alternator fuse and I changed that.
