Okay so i've been thinking long and hard, and have decided to swap my 420a engine in for a 4g63t, BUT...

...i am having a very hard time trying to find a 5 speed transmission with FWD, they are all AWD, if anyone knows of a good site for both engine and transmission i will appreciate it so so much!

thanks!

It you are going that far do the awd conversion. All you need is the front sub frame and the rear sub out of a gsx. It bolts right up i little modding hear and their the shaft is about 4'' to short and your going to have to change you fuel lines. All in all if you are gonna get the 4g63 go awd.:hellyeah:

To add Carbonated at drift.com has done this swap with the 4g63 and he maybe able to help you out with more info on how to do the swap.

oh man, thanks shredwin haha, now i'm having second thoughts on it, maybe i should just switch it out with a new 420a, but with a 5 speed transmission...

does anyone know if it will be a ton of work to swap an automatic for a 5 speed transmission? or will it be pretty simple.

thanks!

Bingo... there's no point in swapping one 2.0L FWD drivetrain for another. It would have just cost you immense amounts of time, money and heartache.

It will take far less time and effort than a 4G63 swap.
