I know this should be on the parts review section but since im a newbie is not letin me .

I purchased a coilover set from emusa last month.im a student in a tight budget and needed some kind of upgrade from my blown stock suspension .the ebay seller sell this for 450 shipped but i call emusa and i got it for 375 shipped. I know there is other reviews about this coilover set ,but since emusa revised this product im doing a new review .I was goint to buy the tokico hp set but i took a chance with this ones .I cant drive my car right now because i need to replace the rear hub and bearing so i i haven't install the coilvers. ( car is my dd )

This set is 16way damping adjustable , not sure but i think is to adjust the rebound.

Pillow ball top mounts but no camber plates, i checked for play and everything looks to be fine.

Individual height adjustment.

Front spring rate 8kg , Rear is 6 kg

and here are some pics i took today one front and one rear . I ll update when i install them prabably in a couple of weeks. sorry for the big pics

an entire 1.5 pages of BS.

unsubscribed. :-(

Yea I know but we always get people like that . Idk why this guy is comperin this 400 $ with a 2000$ set like we don't know by just lookin at the price difference that the 2000$ is going to be more superior in every aspect of a coilover .

Yeah I was surprised at out of hand it got. So are the bolts that strut bars bolt to the same as stock?

Yea they are the same.
The way I look At this is that if I lower the car on kyb gr2 or tokico hp the shocks are gonna blow anyways and they are more or about the same price as this set at least with this set I have the option to adjust ride height n some dampin.I'm just sayin I rather have this than a set of kyb or tokico shocks and springs but each person has their preference.

But when I get the two front shocks I will ask them if they have a higher rated spring because the more you lower ## the the spring rate has to be higher

Okay cool, that saves me some trouble.

I have a front strut bar but not a rear . Hope this helps

Yeah, it was annoying, I knew it obviously wouldn't be as good. I just desperately need to replace my blown stock struts. Anything at all is an upgrade and these are just as cheap as gr2's with lowering springs anyway.

I think I am going to try this set up of emusa coilovers soley because I found some for 150 barely used.. Its between this and Megan springs and I figured if I am going to be riding stiff why not be able to adjust my height? Anyway does anyone have an opinion on these vs Megan springs? Not trying to go off topic since I am looking into buying the product everyone has argued about for the past year LOL
thanks

Does painting KYBs yellow really help? I'd just get Konis and leave the can of paint on the shelf.

LOL this is funny

well guys im still runing this set , i blew the front ones couple of months ago n they were bouncin like crazy but for some retarded reason they nah bouncin anymore , not as stiff as they were when new but i cant complain because now i dont have to buy two front shock . this may not be the best setup (
obviously) but for these streets full of pothole they are pretty good

here is a video of my car hope u guys like it. i know camara man sucks LOL

Mitsubishi Eclipse DSM Street Coilover Suspension Kits

The picture is red color, but description states blue only, price still cheaper, tempt to buy. I called them, it looks like speedyracer is emusa company site

Most likely, but u can get them shipped to ## house for less like i did , just call emusa n ask the if they can lower the price, i got this set for 375 shipped

set it up two days ago! great so far(only two days of course), cross my finger.. will post photos soon

great so far at street, the third day. Yes, I bought from speedyracer, this is the same brand as.. I will keep monitoring it for long period, one of my buddies plan to buy too, I told them wait until I drive for another 1-2 month..

First, one thing. Emusa are not made in the same factory as Megans. Megans are made by BC racing, which also makes Apex'i coilovers.

Emusa are made in the same factory as Godspeed.

Secondly, these are the single worst coilover you can buy, on par with Godspeed and Racelands. There is absolutely no R&D in these, they simply take a basic shock and put different top hats and lower mounts on it for each application.

I've ridden on Megan Streets, Megan Tracks, Stance, Fortune Auto, Tein Super Drifts, these Emusa coils, and my current cheap spring and GR-2 setup. Anything rides better than Emusa.

And coming from the Nissan camp, these seem to be similar to Russian roulette whether they blow or not.

I didnt get then from speedt racer his price too high , i got then from emusa directly i only paid 375

I called EMUSA directly, they told me they wont sell outside of ebay, Then I called again and was told that the price was $500 plus $50 for shipping.
speedyracer.com has them for 449 with free shipping

Manufacturer: EMUSA
