I know this should be on the parts review section but since im a newbie is not letin me .

I purchased a coilover set from emusa last month.im a student in a tight budget and needed some kind of upgrade from my blown stock suspension .the ebay seller sell this for 450 shipped but i call emusa and i got it for 375 shipped. I know there is other reviews about this coilover set ,but since emusa revised this product im doing a new review .I was goint to buy the tokico hp set but i took a chance with this ones .I cant drive my car right now because i need to replace the rear hub and bearing so i i haven't install the coilvers. ( car is my dd )

This set is 16way damping adjustable , not sure but i think is to adjust the rebound.

Pillow ball top mounts but no camber plates, i checked for play and everything looks to be fine.

Individual height adjustment.

Front spring rate 8kg , Rear is 6 kg

and here are some pics i took today one front and one rear . I ll update when i install them prabably in a couple of weeks. sorry for the big pics

Your right to an extent. Swaybars help distribute the load and will act like a spring, but the bottom line is that all of the sprung weight of a vehicle rests on the springs and struts. There is no way around that. And in this case, one single fine threaded aluminum nut per corner which is circled in red. Like I said, sketchy design.

I wasn't talking about how they bolt up. Yes they would be installed in the same location as any other spring and strut combo. I have absolutely no idea where you got that from? :banghead:[/QU

it has two aluminum nut to hold the springs

That nut has nothing to do with holding the weight of the car. That nut simply keeps the lower sleeve from turning. The lower sleeve is completely threaded and that's what's doing the work. It's also tightened at the bottom in the stock location. Its going anywhere.

Nothing sketchy about it if you actually had your hands on them or maybe installed them for that matter. Then tried adjusting them after install you'd see that the design is just fine.

yes your right the lower nut is to prevent it from turnin , megan and other companies use this same desing on their coils

thats good to hear

yea , i just need some 17s or 18s so i can raise it up more and have a better ride quality because this streets are rough here hell of pothole .

That ring you circled is there to jam against the lower mounts. The lower mounts that are off the strut in the picture thread onto the strut body. That ring that was circled will be tightened down against the lower mount so the strut body doesn't unthread or thread down more into the mount.

ive had these on both my cars for over a year of use. they are great for the price

this is the lowest you can go without losing shock trave in the front, not slammed but still a nice drop

Holy ####!!!!
I payed $420 for my KYB AGX's plus $120 for my springs!!!
OP: Do you have a link to where you got these??

Just emailed them asking for a price, and if they offered warranty.

I did notice that they only had one spring rate down, arent the AWD and FWD spring rates different??

Are they still holding up? No leaks or anything? Im considering buying some just to drop a little without the roughness of just springs. The way i look at it is, as cheap as they are you can just buy more as they tear up LOL.

I would LOL all the way to the bank if someone would dyno these. Please, pretty pretty please, someone dyno a set. Maybe then people would realize that you truly get what you pay for or in other words, the lack there of.

Glad they are holding up for you, and that is a great price. I was looking into a set. But with the new Megan Racing EZ Street coilovers for only $650 shipped from venders, that is hard to pass up as well.

I thought they did? AWD's are heavier due to the added rear diff and subframe.
Still havent had a reply. :(

it dont reallt matters on aftermarket suspension , u can always change the springs. im have 6kg back springs and they are stiff

yes the megam ez street coilovers seens like a awsome deal , if u have the money go with the megans and review them.

my friend has tein flex on his gst and he likes how smooth my set rides on the streets
