Is running an EGT probe off the exhaust manifold a good idea if you want to use dsmlink's anti-lag feature?

Or is this just asking for trouble...

It won't hurt the turbine if you don't use it excessively or have it tuned too aggressively. But there's no need for anti lag on a t25, the regular launch control will spool it no problem.

i was wondering if i use the anit-lag feature, that over time the probe from the egt may somehow break off because...you know...anit-lag. Anyway I will be installing my 18g pretty soon and im going to use a 8cm turbine housing. Heard its a tad laggy and want to mess with anti-lag eventually

Yeah just about anything in a bolt on housing will spool with the regular launch control feature. My old bolt on HX35 could build about 15psi @ 6000 rpm on the regular 2 step, and it definitely spooled slower than an 18g.

Hmm I dnt build any boost with launch control set at 5500 with the t25. Blt showed a minor leak at the throttle body. Guess I have different problem I need to check out
