EGT Probe

I tapped the hold for my egt prope in the exhaust mani and the probe is too long to thread in. Can I bend the tip of the probe so it will thread in? Will that hurt it? Thanks.

it will hurt it, did you use a bung for it?

Yes, don't shove the probe all the way down --- just try to get the tip to be in the middle of the runner. the up/down adjustment can be anywhere untill you lock down on the compression fitting, then it won't move
