ECU Flash for 97-99 DSM's?????

I was just stating that Talon's do come with plastic ECU's since everyone seems to think it's only Eclipse's.

I don't know why anybody would think that.

Just clearing up post #14 where he stated he didn't think Talon's came with them. Probably shouldn't have stated that everyone thinks they don't come with them.

I use ecuflash with my evo. I'm don't fully understand the lingo and xml stuff but there is something in there for a "USDM 99 gsx" using mitsukernal as a flash method, the same as an Evo.

Does it mean something to somebody?

Very interested in this. I have a 99 GST and wanted to know if there is a way to reflash the ecu to use a rev limiter. I know there are other ways to do it, but don't the evos have the ability to have a reflash done to act as a rev limiter?

Yea, "Stationary Rev Limit." I have mine set to 5031. At full stop, push the clutch in, floor it, and it will hold that RPM.

I'm wondering if anyone got anywhere on this? I've got a 99 gsx also and was wondering about using a tactrix cable to do some tuneing. I do however have an AFC NEO but running a flash would be an easy way to get a base run to tune off of. I've yet to tune with the afc yet because of stock fuel pump and injectors.

Anyways i know i'm getting into a rant but i'm interested if anyone figured out anything. ECU+???

I am interested as well. I just completed my 16g swap and have an SAFC installed, but not tuned and am inexperienced. It would be interesting to see what this program entails.
