Ok I have a question next year I'll have a job I'll be making 2k a month with no bills so should I keep my eclipse and pay the 267 payment and have about 1700 for the car or buy an evo and pay about 500 and month and have 1500 for the evo?

fiancing a evo8 is gonna kill u on cash, remember when u sign that mitsubishi agreement it says you must have full coverage on everything for that car while its being finance, and trust me that bill for insurance aint gonna look to pretty. Not to mention car payment cash and im sure you want social life cash and upgrade cash :/. Its basically your choice not ours... i personally wouldnt recommend it cause evo8 is 4g63 engine really nothing amazing cept its pushing like 40more hp to the flywheel than the GSX, and about 20more hp to the ground, get a Neon SRT-4 they are based of the 420a engine, since chystler is mopar dodge used the Nonturbo 420a built it up and threw it in the srt-4 248hp aint bad and that car is rated 248 to the ground, not flywheel.

If your Elcipse is in good condition, keep it and pay it off.Theres nothing better than a car you own.If it's beat, buy an EVO.......same basic motor yes but an entirely different car.Makes a 2g feel like a school bus in the handling department form what iv'e been told.

SRT4's are rated at (03) 215hp/(04) 230hp, and usually put 220-230 to the wheels.

Evo's have wicked handling. What's great about a new car is you have a Warranty and you don't worry about things breaking as much. nothing will be rusted etc, so modifacations would be awesome.

SRT-4s are alright. too bad they have NO traction, unless you have drag radials or slicks, and also their handling sucks. I'd take an EVO or an STI over an SRT-4 anyway. It's still a freakin' neon.

Insurance and payment on the Evo will suck yes. but like the other dude said, if your eclipse is beat.. sell it, and buy the EVO. You'll have a lot of fun with it. When i test drove one, it was crazy fun. point and go dude.. awesome car, and it looks sick too.
