They can be good if u hook the shit up right and take care of it etc most ppl say alot negative stuff maybe don't know how to take care of turbos because u got to if u want to keep it going!

Also ppl putting bigger turbos on ## car when u know can't run that shit for over 1000 miles no wonder it blows on u!

My Ebay TDO5 20G lasted 25000 miles before it went, running 22-25psi on it. When it did go I had it rebuilt by Justin with Genuine parts lasted another 20000 before I sold it and as far as I know its still going.
There are definitely BAD ebay turbos out there but there is also some that last decently. None are going to be as good as MHI or FP or Garret but they can get you by and you can rebuild them for CHEAP!!!

FWIW, the first eBay 16G I had lasted about 1k and the 2nd made it 240 miles.

They're built cheap to begin with, and they seem to be getting worse. The eBay turbos of a few years ago actually seemed better than those of today.

Regardless, this topic has been absolutely beaten to death. If you want to risk $200, go for it. For now- to the Graveyard this thread goes.
